Delete your account and data.

At Recollia (operated by Viian Genomics Private Limited), you can delete your account and associated personal data at any time, using either method below.

Option A — In the app (fastest)

1. Open Recollia and sign in.
2. Go to Profile → Settings → Delete account.
3. Confirm. Your account is scheduled for deletion straight away.

The 30-day window

Once you confirm, you are signed out and your account stops working immediately. Your data is then permanently erased 30 days later.

Changed your mind? Sign back in during those 30 days and we will offer to restore your account with your data intact. After the 30 days, restoring is no longer possible.

Option B — By email

If you can't access the app, email support@recollia.ai from the phone number or email on your account (or include it in your message) with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify your identity, delete your account, and confirm when it's done, within the timeframes required by law.

What gets deleted

• Your profile (phone number, email, name, photo, preferences)
• Your content: Tutor questions/answers, MCQ attempts, notes, planner, uploaded images
• Your Companion conversations and everything Companion remembered about you
• Your safety plan and any emergency contact you stored
• Your streaks, XP, and activity data
• Your device/session data and push-notification token

After the 30-day window, deletion is permanent and irreversible.

What we may keep (and why)

• Transaction / subscription records we are required to retain for tax, accounting, and legal purposes, kept for the minimum period required by law and then deleted.
• Data in backups is removed on our normal backup-rotation cycle.
• Usage records (how much of the AI features an account used, and what they cost us) are kept for cost accounting and abuse prevention. Once your account is erased these records can no longer be linked back to you.
• Fully anonymised / aggregated data that can no longer identify you.

A note on subscriptions

If you subscribed on the web, we pause your billing when you request deletion and cancel it for good once the 30 days are up. Restoring your account inside the window resumes it.

A Google Play subscription is not ours to cancel: cancel it yourself in Google Play → Subscriptions, or Google will keep billing you.

Just want to delete some things?

You can delete your Companion history on its own from Companion → Settings, or export your data before deleting.
